Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture

Facial rejuvenation acupuncture helps to improve muscle tone, dermal contraction especially in the face and neck and Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture has been shown to increase collagen production which aids in helping to firm the skin and fill out wrinkles. The wonderful difference between natural facial rejuvenation and botox or skin surgery is it also treats the overall health of the client while simultaneously enhancing ones appearance.

Neural Integration System versus Chinese Medicine

Throughout my years of practice with the introduction of the Neural integrative system (NIS) I commonly get asked how does it relate to Chinese Medicine and acupuncture?

Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture

Facial Rejuvenation is when acupuncture and Chinese herbs are used on the body and the face. Facial rejuvenation acupuncture is effective in treating wrinkles, scars, loose sagging skin, oily acne skin and dark circles under the eyes.

Traditional Chinese Medicine

Developed in Asia over 4,000 years ago, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) focuses on viewing the patient as a whole to treat and prevent illness. TCM practitioners have been extensively trained to identify "patterns of disharmony" which lead to diagnosis and to make recommendations of treatment specific to each individual. In addition to relieving symptoms, Traditional Chinese Medicine directs its attention to treating the underlying cause of the disease, thus enabling the patient to return to a balanced state of health.

Acupuncture is the ancient Chinese practice that involves puncturing the skin with hair-thin needles at particular locations, called acupuncture points. Acupuncture helps reduce pain or bring a body function into balance.

Acupuncture is one of the oldest, most commonly used medical procedures in the world and falls under Traditional Chinese Medicine. Originating in China more than 2,000 years ago, acupuncture became widely known in the United States in 1971.

Is Your Digestive System Doing Its Job?

digestion, acupuncture, vancouver, treatment, therapy, alternative, medicine, chinese

My clinical experience has shown me that at least 60% of the population has some sort of digestive imbalance, which in turn impacts the health of their entire body.

Digestive problems can run the spectrum from serious medical problems such as ulcerative colitis, irritable bowel syndrome and Chron’s disease, to troublesome ailments like constipation, bloating, heartburn and food sensitivities to milk or wheat. In babies, digestive problems usually appear as colic or an overall failure to thrive.
